Singer/Band: The White Stripes.
Available For Download From: Amazon and iTunes.
Yves Saint Laurent’s colourful new ad for their Mascara Vinyl Couture features a song called ‘Rag And Bone’ by US rock duo The White Stripes.
The track is taken from the band’s sixth and last studio album ‘Icky Thump’, which was released back in June of 2007.
As we recently mentioned while covering the Magnum ‘Dare To Go Double’ commercial, The White Stripes consisted of Jack White on lead vocals and lead guitar, and his then wife Meg on the drums. The pair are probably best known for their 2003 hit single ‘Seven Nation Army’.
YSL’s advert for their new line of vinyl mascara has something of a Rubik’s Cube theme to it, with different colour brush containers rotating around in blocks of three.
The video, which was posted to the YSL Beauty YouTube channel on the 12th of May, 2016, shows off the wide range of colours Mascara Vinyl Couture is now available in. According to Yves Saint Laurent, the product comes in 9 powerful colours for the first time visible in a mascara bottle and offering a lacquer-like fluid texture.
