Waitrose Christmas Advert Music – Song and singer details for the upmarket supermarkets #MakesChristmas YouTube and TV commercial.
Song Title: Everybody Eats When They Come to My House.
Artist/Singer: Cab Calloway.
Available To Download From: iTunes and Amazon.
To acompany this years festive advertising campaign, Waitrose have chosen a tune from 1948 called ‘Everybody Eats When They Come to My House’. Having listened to the songs lyrics though, you may well have already guessed that.
The track is sung by the American bandleader and jazz vocalist Cabell ‘Cab’ Calloway, who regularly performed at New York City’s world-famous Cotton Club.
Designed to maximise your appetite and get your mouth watering, this new ‘What Makes Your Christmas?’ ad follows on from Waitrose extremely recent ‘Warmest Season’ campaign. So does that mean Autumn’s over already?
The above video stars celebrity chef Heston Blumenthal and was uploaded to the high-end supermarkets official YouTube channel on the 4th of November, 2015.
The commercial is due to make its television premiere on Sunday the 8th of November, during one of The X Factor’s breaks. Waitrose bosses must therefore be purely targeting maximum exposure for the ads debut, as I’d have thought Downton Abbey viewers would far better fit their target audience.
Beating John Lewis and M&S to the punch, Waitrose are the first of the Christmas advert big-hitters to reveal their 2015 productions.
