This Unicef advert music is English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding’s 2013 cover of the song ‘How Long Will I Love You’, which featured on the reissue of her second album ‘Halcyon’ that was titled ‘Halcyon Days’.
Many of you may recognise Ellie’s version from its use as the official BBC Children in Need single that year, which saw the charity tune peak at number 3 on the UK charts. The song was also included on the soundtrack to 2013 romcom About Time.
First released back in 1990, originally this song was written and recorded by British-Irish folk-rock band The Waterboys, whose version achieved more modest chart success.
