The latest trailer (below) for Channel 4’s ‘This Is England ’90’ features a song called ‘Fools Gold’, which is performed by English alternative rock band The Stone Roses. The track is available to download from both iTunes and Amazon.
Not included on any of the bands original studio albums, the track was released with ‘What the World Is Waiting For’ as part of a double A-side in November of 1989.
Originating from Manchester, The Stone Roses got together in 1983. Though they have featured a number of different members over the years, their best known line-up is considered Ian Brown on lead vocals, John Squire on guitar, Mani on bass and Reni on the drums. Having been apart since the mid 90’s, the band officially reunited in 2011 and are currently still together.

This Is England ’90 represents the final chapter in Shane Meadows’ award-winning Channel 4 drama, following on from This Is England, This Is England ’86 and This Is England ’88.
With filming for the series completed in February, 2015, Lol, Woody, Milky, Shaun and the gang will return to our screens this summer for the stories last four episodes.
