Soundtrack and artist info for Nissan’s new ‘Never Second Best’ Qashqai TV and YouTube commercial.
Nissan’s latest ad for their Qashqai crossover SUV features the song ‘Figure It Out’ by British band Royal Blood. You may recognise the track from another recent TV advert – Samsung’s ‘Unpacking’ smartphone commercial.
As we mentioned when covering that ad earlier this year, Figure It Out was the fourth song taken from the duos self-titled debut album, which earned them a UK number 1 record and a Mercury Music Prize nomination.
This 40-second ‘Innovation that excites’ video, which was uploaded to Nissan Europe’s official YouTube channel on the 1st of September, 2016, shows a bearded man constantly seeing a white Nissan Qashqai everywhere he goes.
Presumably regretting his current choice of car, the ads message is “If you go with second best, there will always be second thoughts.”
Boasting state-of-the-art connected features, advanced technology and dynamic handling which puts the driver in total control, Nissan are now marketing the Qashqai as the ultimate urban crossover.
