This month sees the release of this new 2020 to 2021 TV advert for Lynx Africa that stars boxing champ Anthony Joshua, rapper AJ Tracey, and a rather excited squirrel.
Titled ‘Hot Since ’95’ the 60-second ad celebrates 25 years of Lynx Africa deodorant by taking us back on a nostalgic journey through the last two and a half decades, starting in Manchester in 1995.
There an actor chases after his lost can of Lynx through a world of music, video games, and public transport, before the deodorant finally leads him to the girl of his dreams. The commercial concludes with a squirrel demonstrating that the Lynx effect isn’t restricted just to humans.
