House of Fraser, Spring and Summer 2016 – Song, singer and lyrics details for HoF’s brand-new ‘TURN IT ON’ YouTube and TV ad.
Following on from their highly-successful ‘You Don’t Own Me’ Christmas advert, House of Fraser are back with an all-new ‘Turn It On’ Spring and Summer campaign.
This time around the soundtrack of the commercial is provided by the American singer Santigold, with her latest single ‘Banshee’.
The song is taken from the new wave/electronica artists third studio album ’99¢’, which was released for download on the 26th of February, 2016.
The lyrics to Banshee that you hear Santigold sing in the advert are: ‘Come on, come on. Come on, come on. Step off the edge, come on. Sweat it all out, come on. Let me play with fire tonight, come on. Dancing through the siren alright, come on. Rip it up, I’ll have me a good time, come on. . . There’s something about it okay, come on.’
Sticking with a similar formula to their popular festive offering, House of Fraser’s new ad brings us another high energy contemporary dance routine, this time choreographed by English performer Aaron Sillis.
The 30-second video, which was posted to House of Fraser’s YouTube page on the 4th of March, 2016, was directed by Grammy Award-winner Dave Meyers, who’s previously worked with such artists as Katy Perry, Missy Elliot and Rihanna.
