Heathrow TV Ad Music – Singer and song details for Heathrow Airport’s ’70 Years/The First Flight’ YouTube and TV advert. #LHR70
To help celebrate the London airports 70th anniversary, Heathrow has today launched its first ever TV advert.
Titled ‘The First Flight’, the 90-second ad follows a young girl as she ventures off with her family on her premier plane journey. By the child’s side throughout the trip, and thankfully being allowed through check in as carry on luggage, is her faithful owl suitcase. Together the pair are seen enjoying the sights and sounds of the airport, before finally heading off to board their plane.
Providing the soundtrack to this ad is David Bowie’s 1967 song ‘When I Live My Dream’, which features on the music legends self-titled debut studio album.
As well as now being available to download as part of this album and as an individual track, When I Live My Dream can also be found on the singer-songwriters 1970 release ‘The World of David Bowie’.
Finishing with the slogan ‘To The Next 70 Years Of First Flights – Heathrow 70’, this Summer 2016 commercial was uploaded to Heathrow Airport’s official YouTube channel on the 18th of July.
