Fever-Tree Advert Music – Actress, singer and song details for the Indian Tonic Water’s new ‘Give Me Fever’ 2015 TV commercial. #MixWithTheBest
Song Title: Fever.
Artist/Singer: Angela Ricci.
The first ever TV ad for Fever-Tree Indian Tonic Water features a cover of the classic rhythm and blues song ‘Fever’.
Performing this new version and starring as the adverts on-screen actress, is the London-based Blues/Jazz singer Angela Ricci. You can follow this up-and-coming vocalist on Twitter @missangelaricci.
After originally being recorded in 1956 by Little Willie John and topping the US Billboard R&B Best Sellers chart, Fever was re-recorded a couple of years later by Peggy Lee. It is now the female singers cover that has become the most recognised version of the song.
Angela’s rendition of Fever is not currently available for commercial download, but you can get some of her other tracks, such as ‘So Good’:
Fever-Tree’s advert has been created in partnership with Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund, a new scheme which offers high growth companies the opportunity to boost their businesses further through television advertising. Due to these origins, you might only see the ad air on 4’s family of channels.
The above ‘Mix With The Best’ video was added to Fever-Tree Mixers YouTube page on the 19th of November, 2015, and premiered on Channel 4 the same day.
The film, which is set in an atmospheric, jazz club-style bar, was directed by Paul Weiland OBE.
