Dulux Advert – Here are the soundtrack details to the Dulux Endurance TV and YouTube commercial.
Dulux paints latest TV ad features what appears to be a cover version of Brenda Lee’s 1960 song ‘I’m Sorry’.
The American singer first recorded the track when she was just 15-years-old, achieving a number one hit single on the US Billboard Hot 100. I’m Sorry also reached number 12 in the UK charts.
I’m not sure who’s providing the vocals on the version you hear played in this advert, but it doesn’t sound to me like Brenda Lee’s original. It may well have been recorded especially for Dulux and not made for commercial release.
The above advert, which was posted to Dulux UK’s YouTube channel on the 22nd of February, 2016, promotes the companies range of Endurance paints.
According to Dulux, their Endurance+ Matt paint is exceptionally tough – capable of standing up to the rough and tumble of peoples busy lives. Its Diamond Tough formulation claims to be 20-times tougher than their standard paints, allowing you to wash away stains and kids drawings without damaging the finish.
