Dreams – ‘Everything Changes’ Take That Cover

Dreams ‘Replace Every 8’ August 2015 TV Ad Music.

What’s the name of the song used in the Dreams summer 2015 advert?

The current Dreams beds commercial features a cover version of the Take That single ‘Everything Changes’.

According to the adverts director Phil Hawkins, this version is composed by Richard Bodgers. We’re currently not sure if or where you can download or stream the full length version. You can however hear slightly more in the above special making of video. From what we can tell, Dreams have provided no official information on who sings this cover version.

Co-written by Gary Barlow, the original Take That single was released in March of 1994, back when the group had its full five-piece line-up of Mark Owen, Jason Orange, Gary Barlow, Robbie Williams and Howard Donald.

Featuring Robbie on lead vocals, the song predictably made it to number 1 in the official UK singles chart. The track was the fifth release from the groups second album, also titled Everything Changes.

The section of the song used for the ad features the chorus lyrics: ‘Everything changes but you, we’re a thousand miles apart but you know I love you. Everything changes but you, you know every single day I’ll be thinking about you.’

The Dreams ad (that you can watch above), which was uploaded to the companies official YouTube page on Wednesday the 5th of August, 2015, suggests we now replace our mattresses every 8 years. To help us stick to this recommendation, the bed retailer are now sticking labels on them telling you what year it was delivered.

But to remind you how the original version of Everything Changes sounded, here’s a look at the songs official music video:
