Who’s singing the new 2020 Apple Arcade advert song? The one that includes the lyrics “Welcome to my world, won’t you come on in? Welcome to my world, built with you in mind”.
The new Apple Arcade advert music, which is indeed called ‘Welcome To My World’, is being sung here by the American actor, comedian, and singer Dean Martin, who released the track back in 1965. You can download the full-length version from Amazon UK.
However, Dean Martin’s version that’s playing in this Apple commercial isn’t the original recording of the song. That was released a year earlier by the American country music singer-songwriter Jim Reeves, while the song was written by John Hathcock and Ray Winkler.
For anyone of you interested in Apple Arcade itself, after all that is what this ‘A new world to play in’ ad promotes, it’s a video gaming subscription service that launched last Autumn.
Promising no in-app purchases or ads, the service comes with a pretty extensive lineup of games including Guildlings, Sonic Racing, Hot Lava, Jenny LeClue, Redout: Space Assault, Lego Arthouse, Rayman Mini, Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm, LEGO Brawls, Overland, Ballistic Baseball, Projection: First Light, Pac-Man Party Royale, Shantae and the Seven Sirens, and many more.
